At the direction of Governor Beshear and the Kentucky Board of Dentistry, we will be temporarily ceasing elective dental procedures and only treat emergency needs to do our part in stopping the spread of the virus to our wonderful patients, staff, and community.

We will be unable to complete treatment that can potentially spread the virus. We will continue using the latest and best protocols for sterilization and infection control, and we are committed to cleaning our treatment and common areas with hospital-grade disinfectants.

Please call our office at 270-746-5880 with any questions, concerns, or if you need to see a dentist for an emergency.

See you again soon for your next regularly schedule appointment.

Your First Visit

First impressions are especially important when visiting the dentist for the first time. Starting with your first visit, we’ll show you how much we value you as a patient and as a member of our extended dental family.

To help make your first visit memorable in a positive way, we’ve provided some helpful information here to get you started. But you are always more than welcome to call us at (270) 746-5880, and a friendly member of our team will be happy to help you.

Forms and Paperwork You'll Need

Before we can treat you, we need to gather necessary information such as your medical history and the medications you take. Please visit our Forms page to download the paperwork you need to complete and bring with you to your appointment.

If you’re unable to complete your paperwork beforehand, please arrive at our office east 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Please also bring your ID and any insurance cards you will be using.

When You Arrive

When you arrive, a friendly member of our front office team will welcome you warmly. They will check you in, collect your paperwork, and invite you to relax for a few minutes in our comfortable reception area.

Your First Appointment

When it’s time for your appointment, you will meet your dental hygienist who will show you back to your room and get you settled in. She will ask you about any concerns or questions you have and what your oral health goals are.

Next, your dental hygienist will chart your teeth to note any existing dental work or areas of concern. She will also check your gums to look for signs of periodontal disease.

Your Dental Cleaning

Your dental cleaning comes next and is designed to remove all the plaque and tartar from your teeth, including the places you can’t reach with your toothbrush. The final step is to polish your teeth to leave them feeling fresh and clean.

Treatment Planning

Based on what she finds during your cleaning and exam, your dental hygienist will explain what treatment is necessary if any. You will work with a member of our team to arrange any future appointments and to discuss your insurance benefits and financing options.
