Meet Dr. Clemmons

After graduation from Edmonson County High School, Dr. Kevin Clemmons obtained his biology degree from Transylvania University in 1982. He then attended the University of Kentucky and received his dental degree from the College of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Clemmons began his dental career by practicing dentistry in Brownsville, Smiths Grove and Clarkson, KY. In 2002 he opened Briarwood Dental in Bowling Green, which has become his sole location.

Dr. Clemmons continually educates himself and his team members on the latest techniques to provide his patients with advanced, comfortable and personalized dental care. He has completed numerous courses, in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and oral conscious sedation. Dr. Clemmons most recent accomplishment was completing a 350 hour mini-residency in implant dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia, in Atlanta.

Dr. Clemmons is a member of the American Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the Kentucky Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has dedicated his professional career to providing patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.

Dr. Foit

Meet Dr. Foit

Dr. Robert Foit, originally from Pike County in Eastern Kentucky graduated from Morehead State University in 1990 with a degree in biology and chemistry. After obtaining his dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1994 he practiced part time and completed a one year residency in advanced education in general dentistry. During this year he received additional training in root canals and implants. He then practiced in Louisville for the next three years with his former instructors.

Dr. Foit moved to Bowling Green in 1998 and practiced dentistry until 2001, at which time he opened a practice in Paris, KY. He now makes Bowling Green his home with his daughter and has been a part of the Briarwood team since 2004.

Dr. Foit has had a wealth of experience with all types of people of all ages. He prides himself in patiently listening to his patients and completing thorough examinations using the latest and best dental technology. He then discusses the diagnosis and patient’s options. Dr. Foit’s philosophy is “when you treat others the way you want to be treated, everyone is a winner.”

Dr. Taylor

Meet Dr. Taylor

Dr. Jonathan Taylor was born in Bowling Green, KY and completed his pre-dental courses at Western Kentucky University. Upon graduation from the University of Louisville Dental School in 2004 he and his wife moved back to Bowling Green to be close to friends and family. Dr. Taylor practiced at Brownsville Dental for the past 5 years, as well as part time at Briarwood. We are very pleased he has joined our team full-time.

Dr. Taylor put himself through school while working in the construction field, so he knows what it means to work hard. He applies that same work ethic to his every day practice in dentistry. Not only does Dr. Taylor believe in working hard, he also believes all people deserve respect. Due to his caring attitude and relaxed nature, patients continue to request Dr. Taylor for future dental appointments.
